My testimony in 60 seconds :)
Growing up in a home with both Hindu and Christian parents was challenging and for long time I didn't follow any specific religion. I only went to church occasionally, mostly during Christmas or New Year’s Eve. It was more an extended family gathering after that.
As I grow up in middle class family, I had my share of personal struggles, always think low of myself, lust, envy, anger, greed. was focused on chasing wealth and possessions, thinking that was the key to a better life.
But things got better after I got married to a christian woman and moved to Seattle for work. I started attending a local church and joined a study group for the book The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren. Through that study, I realized that God created everyone with a specific purpose. I also came to understand the Gospel—that Jesus died for my sins.
Lately I started questioning my life and trying to find my purpose through Jesus changed my entire perspective. Now, I have true peace knowing that God has a better plan for my life and has forgiven me.
